It took just one second to bring down something which had been standing for over a century.
Thousands lined the river in Saskatoon to see the demolition of the famous Traffic Bridge.
According to Saskatoon Police the exercise went off without a hitch.
The bridge is being replaced with funds from the provincial and federal governments.
The funding is part of the P3 Canada Fund, which has already helped pay for four major infrastructure builds in the province.
The fund is contributing 66 million dollars for this project while the province is pitching in 50 million dollars.
