Crew members of the HMCS Regina visited the Regina Pats in Everett Monday.
The 10-man crew ship is dry docked just outside Victoria, BC and members of the crew made the trip down to Washington to meet the Queen City team.
They all intend to be the loudest cheering squad at Tuesday night’s game against the Silvertips.
Lieutenant Jay Paton says the reason they are in Everett is to show their support for the city of Regina as all the crew have a special connection with the sports scene in Saskatchewan – especially Regina.
Officer Peter Potvin says they are excited for the night and didn’t mind taking the scenic trip south to re-connect with Regina.
The puck will drop at 9 o’clock tonight on 620 CKRM.
