No charges will be paid after a vehicle crashed into a power pole on Ring Road Wednesday around noon.
Regina Police Service members, along with EMS, Regina Fire and Protective Services and SaskPower were called out to Ross Avenue and McDonald Street.
The van was going west-bound on Ross Avenue when it the driver lost control and the vehicle struck a power pole.
It appeared the power pole broke with the impact of the vehicle and power lines were unsupported.
The driver of the vehicle appeared unhurt but he remained in his vehicle until it was determined he could safely exit the van.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and SaskPower employees continued their work to repair the damage.
The roadway was closed for much of the afternoon.
Police believe road conditions were the main contributing factor in this collision and are reminding motorists to use caution when road conditions are less than ideal.
