Police say a 17-year-old has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and seven counts of attempted murder in Friday’s mass shooting in Saskatchewan.
Police say they were called to the high school in La Loche shortly after the lunch hour on Friday for reports of a shooting.
They say they were able to arrest an armed suspect after a chase through the halls.
The male can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
R-C-M-P have identified all four of the victims who died in the tragic loss of life.
The dead have been officially identified as Adam Wood, 35, and Marie Janvier, 21, both of whom where shot at the school.
17-year-old Dayne Fontaine and 13-year-old Drayden Fontaine were also found dead in a home.
Police say they received consent to name the two teens from family members.
