There’s a risk of freezing rain in southern Saskatchewan.
Environment Canada says an area of freezing rain is expected to develop mainly along and north of the Yellowhead highway.
This area of freezing rain is expected to push across the Saskatoon and Prince Albert areas by late evening and into southeast Saskatchewan after midnight.
Most localities in the warning area could see one to three hours of freezing rain with 1-3 mm of icing possible before temperatures climb above the freezing mark.
There is a risk of some freezing rain in regina as well overnight, however the main threat is expected north and east of the city.
Motorists are advised to be prepared for slippery conditions.
