Out of scope employees who work for the city are getting a bump in pay.
Regina city council has voted in favour of a two percent wage increase for them.
Also at council last night, the city is going ahead with a laneway and garden suites pilot project.
That will see some of the mini-homes built in existing neighbourhoods.
Councillors were also not quite ready to adopt a motion brought forward by Councillor Shawn Fraser on recognizing the right of Regina residents to live in a healthy environment.
Many councillors wanted more information on the planned motion and what implications it would have on a variety of levels.
A group known as the Blue Dot Movement is hoping to get municipalities to make this declaration so they can move on and get the right approved by the provincial and federal government.
