Bullying has been a problem for many years. It’s not something that just started happening… I’m sure at some point in all of our lives we were in a position where we were bullied. In fact, there’s also probably a good chance a lot of us have been in a position where we bullied someone else.
It happens at every age, whether we are in elementary school or are in our adult lives.
Over the last number of years many Saskatchewan Roughriders have teamed up with the Red Cross to help speak to students about bullying. What better role models to get out in the community! Every single Roughrider player you talk to is so proud of the work they do with the Red Cross and the experiences they encounter along the way. Dan Clark is no different.
Dan grew up in Regina and now when he’s not snapping footballs for the Riders, he’s spreading his good words to THOUSANDS of kids around the province. He stopped by the station yesterday to chat about “RED CROSS PINK DAY” which is coming up on February 24th.
Have a listen to our chat!
Last year the Red Cross and the Saskatchewan posted an “Imagine No Bullying” video with past and present Riders. Check it out!
