A 45-year old woman has been charged with aggravated assault after a 14-month old girl was sent to hospital with life threatening injuries.
RCMP began an investigation on November 12, 2015 into a complaint of a child injured at a private, unlicensed daycare at a residence in Pilot Butte.
An injured 14-month old girl was taken to hospital in Regina, suffering from what were described as life threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation determined the girl’s injuries were not accidental.
RCMP have charged 45-year old Terrie Lynn Olson from Pilot Butte, with aggravated assault.
Olson has been released on conditions, including no contact with the victim and no employment that places her in a position of trust or authority of any person under the age of 16.
Olson will make her first court appearance on Monday, February 1.
The 14-month old girl continues to receive medical care.
