Environment Canada says we can expect above-zero temperatures Friday and Saturday.
This weekend’s forecast is nearly mirroring the Farmer’s Almanac predictions for 2016 – which were revealed in December.
Then, the Almanac said February would be “quite mild” with colder weather expected towards the end of the month.
It also said flurries would be prevalent throughout February.
Southern Saskatchewan indeed IS expecting some moisture this weekend – but in our case, it’s rain.
Cooler temperatures are expected later next week, however the weather office says it’s still milder-than-normal for this time of year.
