You may need to haul out some winter scarves and warmer sweaters for the next day or two.
Environment Canada says we can expect some bitter wind chill to burrow into the province for a couple of days – of course, coinciding with the Family Day long weekend.
In some cases, it could get as cold as minus 30 with the windchill.
But take heart.
There is another warm front preparing to make a return and temperatures will return to the milder conditions we have become accustomed to.
Look for sun at the end of the long weekend, as well as temperatures hovering near the zero-mark.
