The Regina Humane Society’s 28th annual telethon goes tonight on Access 7 in Regina from 6-10.
The Humane Society’s Bill Thorn says the telethon will raise much needed funds and help find forever homes for several pets.
One animal who will make an appearance is Bruce Almighty. The cat caused a world-wide flood of love and concern when his story of abuse was brought to everyone’s attention last year.
Those who don’t have Access can go to the company’s website to see the telethon get streamed live.
Thorn is hoping 50-thousand dollars can be raised for programs the humane society offers as well as continuing to give cats and dogs a second chance at a happy healthy life.
