I make no secret that I am a night owl. I function way better in the evening than I ever do during the day time. I need to literally build up to it essentially if I need to get up early. This usually means going to sleep earlier several days a head to that I can get used to getting up. This usually leads to cranky Nevan. Mainly because I don’t sleep well and getting up early basically cranky. I’ve learned that I’ve always kind of been this way. Some people think it’s learned behavior and you can break the cycle. Me, not so much, I put a little thought into it and I think the change would’ve been my last year of high school as I didn’t have classes as early so you’d get that extra bit of sleeping in. It also means I’ve got the time to go run any errands I need to do before work. So I honestly love working the night shift and of course sleeping in.
