The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region says all water at the Pasqua Hospital is once again safe to drink.
A procedure to put in some new parts after a water leak was made on Friday night resulting in water to the hospital being turned off while the repairs were completed.
While those repairs were done early Saturday morning, the system had to be flushed with tests then having to be conducted on the water supply to make sure it was safe to drink. The all-clear was given late Sunday morning, and it is business as usual.
Patients, doctors and visitors to the hospital were able to consume bottled water if needed while the water was turned off, and the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region stresses there was never any threat to patient safety or care.
