Brad Wall is hitting back at Ontario’s Environment Minister as the debate over carbon taxes heats up.
The premier of Saskatchewan says his province won’t be pricing carbon any time soon, despite an Ontario Minister’s suggestion Saskatchewan support a national carbon tax.
Reports say the feds are eyeing a national carbon tax of $15 per tonne.
On Thursday Ontario Environment Minister Glen Murray told the Globe and Mail Saskatchewan should follow suit with Alberta’s NDP and create a price for carbon.
The premiers of Canada will meet with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau next month in Vancouver.
