More than forty 4-H members from all corners of the province were in Saskatoon for the Prairieland Youth Leadership Conference.
The young people participated in leadership workshops, team building exercises and an interview.
A total of eight thousand dollars in post-secondary scholarships were presented at an awards banquet.
First place and a three-thousand-dollar scholarship went to Emily Letendre from Spruce Home, about 20 kilometres north of Prince Albert.
The grade 11 student is with the Spruce Home Multiple 4-H Club and wants to become a large animal veterinarian.
