Crime numbers in Regina saw an increase of 4.6 percent from 2014 to 2015.
Regina Police Chief Troy Hagen says there are three main areas of concern within the city.
“It’s our detached outbuilding break and enters, it’s auto theft attempts and auto thefts, and theft from autos.”
Hagen says the increase can be contributed to the warmer weather this winter and the softened economy.
There were a total of 18,332 crimes reported in 2015, compared to 175,520 in 2014.
