Saskatchewan Registered nurses will meet in Saskatoon Wednesday and Regina Thursday.
About 600 are expected to gather at either event to discuss issues surrounding their union’s impasse with the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations.
The nurses have been without a contract since March 2014.
Negotiations with SAHO for a new contract began last July, but broke off earlier this month.
Saskatchewan Union of Nurses president Tracy Zambory says at issue is the role of the charge nurse, who is in charge of a particular unit.
She says SAHO wants to alter the method around chain-of-command which could result in charge nurses needing approval from a non-nurse manager.
Earlier this month, both sides agreed to a 60-day period of conciliation, followed by a seven-day cooling off period.
Zambory says if no agreement is reached the case will go to binding arbitration.
