Nipawin Hospital and Pineview Lodge in Nipawin, SK have been closed after RCMP received bomb threats.
RCMP got their first call from a woman at about 11:30 Thursday night about possible explosives in the hospital, and completed a search of the building.
They got another call a few hours later from a woman wanting to harm to herself, and then a third call at 6:00 a.m. on Friday.
Staff Sergeant Darren Wouters with Nipawin RCMP says the third call was similar to the first two.
“Early this morning it was a woman whispering in a low voice about a bomb in the hospital.”
RCMP say they have no suspects in custody as of right now, but know the number of the cell phone that made the calls, and continue to investigate.
Kelsey Trail Health Region officials say the hospital will remain closed while they work with RCMP.
