One year after people in the town of Craik came to the provincial legislature demanding better rural health services, rural and remote health minister Greg Ottenbreit – along with the leaders of the NDP, Liberals, Conservatives and Green Party – will be in the town Saturday to take part in a town hall meeting.
David Ashdown is the chair of the Craik and District Health Committee.
He says he is delighted to see all parties recognize this issue is a big one and they are sending representatives.
Ashdown says this is not solely a Craik-issue.
He says is an issue for all of rural Saskatchewan and he is expecting some good dialogue as the provincial election gets closer.
