16 inmates at one wing of the Regina Correctional Centre are once again refusing to eat citing the living conditions they are under.
The inmates say they are locked up virtually all day, with one of those inmates Forrest Pelletier saying it is worse in Saskatoon.
Pelletier says they are demanding a new exercise yard and an improved cable TV package that has at least 60 channels.
The provincial justice ministry says they will give consideration to some of the requests, but the inmates can forget about getting an improved TV package.
The ministry of justice says some of the inmates in question have gang ties and that they could be a threat to others or be targeted by others at the facility.
