Saskatchewan Rural health minister, Greg Ottenbreit, is in Craik meeting with the community and the leaders of the other provincial parties on Saturday.
The town hall meeting was called because there has been a lot of different stories circulating about the future of the health care services in the region.
Ottenbreit says there have never been any plans to close the health care facility or to remove a full-time doctor from the community.
Ottenbreit stands proudly by the SaskParty’s record on healthcare which he says is a stark contrast to that of the previous NDP regime.
The debate comes just days ahead of when the election writ is expected to drop in Saskatchewan. Voters head to the polls on April 4th.
