Environment Canada is warning travellers in central Saskatchewan to use extra caution Monday morning – a band of freezing rain has settled over parts of the province.
A low pressure system is spreading a mixture of rain, freezing rain, and snow over parts of southern Saskatchewan.
Saskatoon has been part of the warning for most of the night.
Precipitation will change over entirely to snow by late morning.
South of Saskatoon the precipitation should all be in liquid form and temperatures are expected to remain just above zero.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
