Punnichy RCMP have arrested two people after reports of individuals trying to break into parked cars in that community.
On the 6th of March at 5:45 A.M. Punnichy RCMP responded to a complaint that 3 suspicious persons were walking around the town of Raymore.
Preliminary investigations identified at least 8 vehicles had been rummaged through and several items had been stolen.
Three suspects under the age of 18 were identified.
A youth from Raymore as well as a youth from the nearby community of Semans were both arrested in the community of Raymore.
A third youth from the town of Raymore still remains at large.
Charges in this matter are pending.
Due to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the names of these youths will not be released.
The Punnichy RCMP would like to remind the public to lock their vehicles and to avoid leaving ignition keys or any valuables inside of their vehicles when they are unattended.
