Some people are super excited about election talk.
If you follow the American “run-up” to their election, well you have been engaged for months – years.
And the Donald just keeps getting more and more bizarre in his commentary and actions.
The action of protesters and supporters. If you have paid little or no attention to American politics, you are now.
Safe to say that 2016/2017 will be some of the most important and interesting political dialogue in a very long time. Hang on to your wispy, wrapped around your head hair!
If nothing else, watching and listening from the sideline is intense, interesting, disgusting, engaging, vile. The list goes on!!
And now we have some interesting twists and turns in our own Saskatchewan election. Some of which may just take away from the issues at hand.
When I got home from the weekend, I noted that someone had campaigned in my building.
It made me think, “What is important to me”.
Candidates, don’t come to my home – I won’t invite you in! Not because I don’t want to hear the spin of your party on the various issues.
“I’m just not ready” and I don’t even know about “the” hair – thing! (have you noticed the spin on that phrase being used in Saskatchewan’s election ads)
Homework for the elections – know the party platforms and then speaking to candidates in a controlled, informed way! Mind you a little raw emotion wouldn’t hurt, would it!
There are things I want to know .. the state of health for our seniors. No one should be in a facility where the conditions are questionable – safety or otherwise. What about housing and homelessness.
It is a matter of sorting out the things that matter to me so I can be informed. No mud slinging gang, just run this province so we all see the benefits and thrive, not just survive!
