Don’t be a lump this spring!
Running or walking on the pathways of Regina is a splendid way to unwind, get your fitness fix or just get from point A to B. Have you ever just stopped to take in what’s around you!?
This weekend, weather permitting the birds and critters will be abundant and here’s a chance to view the miracle of Spring.
The event is:
Winter birds and wildlife field trip at Wascana Park in Regina
Sat, March 19, 10am – 12pm
NATURE REGINA website has a variety of things to get you off of the couch and out into the park system of Regina.
This event will allow you to see what species have returned since the last outing, February 5th, when Nature Regina found 13 species. As 5 weeks have passed, the birding landscape has encountered potential changes as birds migrate north.
Join leaders: Kim Mann and Val Mann at the front of the Legislative Building (next to the statue of Her Majesty the Queen of England on Burmese, her horse.) Extra clothing is usually necessary near the lake. Bring binoculars or share ours. If severe weather changes the day, there could be a cancellation and it will be posted on: www.natureregina.ca
