So much for the beginning of spring.
There’s an Alberta Clipper expected to hit Saskatchewan later Monday – and with that, comes all the makings of winter: snow, high winds, freezing rain.
Except Environment Canada says the temperature won’t drop too much.
Justin Shaer says expect these winter-like conditions to hit laterMonday – with some snowfall Monday evening into Tuesday.
Shaer says expect snow mixed with ice pellets late in the morning with gusty winds developing later.
He says snowfall will hit later Monday evening – about 5cm forecast for southern regions – 2-4cm expected Tuesday.
Shaer says this clipper will blow out of the region on Tuesday – but he does caution motorists who are travelling in the province to check the road conditions first.
