Switzerland’s Binia Feltscher beat Japan’s Satsuki Fujisawa 8-4 on Friday night in the 1-2 Page playoff at the women’s curling world championship.
Feltscher will play in Sunday night’s final against the winner of Saturday night’s semifinal.
Fujisawa will meet the winner of Canada and Russia’s 3-4 Page playoff on Saturday night.
Canadian skip Chelsea Carey and Russian skip Anna Sidorova play on Saturday afternoon.
Swiss second Franziska Kaufmann swept furiously to help Feltscher lay in for a single in the fourth for a 3-1 lead.
The packed Swift Current Credit Union iPlex loudly cheered Kaufmann’s exceptional effort.
