A great start to his round has Graham DeLaet in sight of the leaders at this week’s stop on the PGA Tour–the Shell Houston Open.
The Weyburn native had four straight birdies on the front 9 as he shot an opening round 67 putting him three shots off the lead.
Charley Hoffman is the leader at eight under par.
DeLaet went into the event looking for his first ever victory on the PGA Tour. He has competed in 11 events so far this season finishing in the top 25 three times and taking home over 640-thousand dollars in prize money.
