Here we are, back at it for another week. Hope your weekend went well.
Apparently taking the patio furniture out the shed a few weeks ago was a little premature, as my wife predicted it would be. Smarty pants. The visions I had of deck life certainly didn’t include snow-covered patio chairs on April 10. We had a wonderful winter and a not so wonderful spring thus far, although I’m not going to complain about the weather. Hey, if the temperatures are in the plus range, that’s good enough for me.
Our granddaughters had dance over the weekend at the Performing Arts Center. Trying to find a parking spot around there over the weekend was a nightmare, unless you didn’t mind parking 4 blocks away. You almost had to park and then hail a cab to get you the rest of the way. Hopefully it’ll be a lot better this weekend in Moose Jaw where the girls will don their dancing shoes once again. It’s definitely a very exciting time for all the kids, and the parents as well, once they’ve found parking and are in their seats. It should be a fun road trip.
Great news on the sports front. The Leafs finished in last place, which hopefully will translate into the overall first pick! There was a news story in the Toronto Sun last Friday that said “Leafs Fail To Clinch Last Place” after the stupid team won it’s game the night before. You know your team is really, really bad when that’s the headline it generates! They should try to sigh Josh Donaldson. That guy can do it all!
