The rise in Saskatchewan farmland values is starting to slow down.
Farm Credit Canada says land values in this province jumped 9.4 per-cent last year, following a gain of 18.7 per-cent the year before.
Cathy Gale, director of valuation, says a few areas of Saskatchewan actually saw a drop in value, particularly the southeast.
Gale says a downturn in land values was scattered across the province.
Land values in Saskatchewan rose just behind the national average of 10 per-cent.
