A floating tourist attraction in Alberta’s capital is up for sale.
The Edmonton Queen river boat has been a major draw on the North Saskatchewan River since 1995.
A group that’s handling the sale says the owners are looking for someone who will keep the 399-seat vessel in the city.
The Queen isn’t the only big watercraft on the Prairies that’s being sold.
The captain and owner of the Paddlewheel Princess in Winnipeg announced earlier this month that he’s finally retiring from the tour business and is putting his boat up for sale.
Steve Hawchuk first retired in 2011, but jumped aboard the business again a year later because of customer demand to keep his boat plying the Red River.
