Yesterday morning after work I decided I’d take advantage of the beautiful weather and get some “outdoor things” taken care of.
First up was a trip to the dog park with Max. It was sunny, dry, and most importantly, things have dried up out there since our last visit. Runs are few and far between in the cold weather, but during the warmer months I’ll take him for a run every day. I can tell with the last few visits that he’s a little out of shape. About halfway through our trek around the park he slows down from a brisk run to a brisk walk. A few more visits should rectify that situation. Hey, at least I don’t get tired following him around.
After the dog park I parked my butt on the couch to watch the last few innings of the Jays/Red Sox game from Boston before pulling out the vacuum and some cleaning supplies to tackle the job of cleaning the inside of my vehicle.
I never let my vehicle get really dirty, so it’s just a matter of vacuuming out all of the crud that stuck to the bottom of my shoes over the winter and ended up on the floor of the vehicle. After the vacuuming was done I got the cleaner and went to work on the dash, which looked like it had been blasted by an Arabian sandstorm. Part two of the job will be completed on the way home from work this morning when I roll into the nearest carwash.
After that it’ll be back to the dog park to see if Max can make it any further before petering out!
