Human remains have been found near the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert, and Mounties believe those remains might be of a man missing since June of 2015.
Members of the underwater team found the remains which were in a slough on private property today.
An autopsy will happen Friday to confirm the identity of the remains, but RCMP think it may be Troy Napope.
He was reported missing over a year ago after last being seen at a house party.
Two people are facing first degree murder charges in connection with the case.
One of the two–Braidy Vermette–escaped custody two weeks after being charged after being escorted to hospital for treatment of an arm injury.
He was recaptured a few days later.
