A year ago, on April 22, 2015, at about 9:53 p.m., police were dispatched to an alley in the 600 block between Retallack and Robinson Streets for a report of an injured or sick person. Police arrived and found a man who was confirmed dead by EMS.
The investigation, carried out in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, determined the man’s death to be a homicide. The victim was later identified as 55-year old Timothy Raw Evenson from Regina. Evenson was the second victim of homicide in Regina in 2015.
Police has actively investigated the case, but have yet to charge anyone in connection with the homicide.
