Deputy city manager and chief operations manager Brent Sjoberg has been let go.
In a news release issued Friday morning by the city, new city manager Chris Holden says changes are being made because strong organizations require a strong and unified leadership team.
Sjoberg’s role will not be filled with his job duties being re-assigned to other personnel.
Sjoberg has been a senior leader for the city since 2007 and has been the lead on the city’s stadium and waste-water treatment project.
Holden will speak more on this issue Friday afternoon.
