Regina police have charged a 15 year old boy with mischief after yesterday’s bomb threat at Winston Knoll Collegiate.
That threat forced a cancellation of afternoon classes with nearby Riffel High School being placed in a hold and secure protocol with an early dismissal for students.
The boy will be in youth court next month. He can’t be named because of his age.
Another 15 year old boy has also been charged with mischief after an unrelated incident to the one at Knoll in the east end where Johnson High School and two other elementary schools were put in a hold and secure mode for a short time.
In that incident, a staff member at an elementary school near Johnson noticed a teenager smash out a car window and that he may have had a weapon.
That person was found and arrested without incident. Police say he had no weapon.
He will also appear in youth court next month.
