Police were also called to the Selam Ethiopian Restaurant & Hooka Lounge on Broad Street at about 2:30 a.m., and found an injured man.
Les Parker with the Regina Police Service says they continue to question people and are taking the incidents very seriously.
“We certainly ask that people are aware of their surroundings. While we don’t have anyone charged at this moment, it’s certainly concerning to us.”
Police have confirmed there were no firearms involved in the second incident.
They are investigating whether the two incidents are connected.
