Friday is the final day of work for Agribition Marty Seymour.
After five years, CEO Marty Seymour will be leaving for new pastures to work with a similar-type project for Farm Credit Canada.
He is the CWA’s 12th CEO since 1971.
Seymour’s Twitter stream was filled with well-wishers who was with him Thursday for his final farewells.
Seymour takes up new duties at Farm Credit Canada next week.
The organization announced the event brought in over $844,606 in profit, and make a provincial economic impact to the tune of $56 million.
Over 130,000 livestock enthusiasts attended the six-day event.
Seymour says he is looking forward to new challenges.
Seymour sees two key highlights, including record profits of 800 thousand dollars last year at Agribition and the start of construction on the new International Trade Centre.
