My old green suitcase had a “wardrobe malfunction” during the Toronto trip! The front flap zipper was off the rails! The safety pins just weren’t cutting it!
Mom was heading out on her holiday, her current suitcase is small. I figured, if I get something new, mom can be the first to use it! But NOOOOOOO. She was down right offended that I suggest she take such a gaudy looking bag!
AH, HELLO! I bought it for me! Just a courtesy that you might like to have some more room for your STUFF!
I was pretty proud of my ugly purchase! Luggage is expensive and if you look on the Lucas company website – this is a good deal!
These miscommunications are funny once you reflect on the moment. But here we had too unhappy people.
Do I like this suitcase? I don’t know! It sure spins on a dime and rolls along nicely! Will it hold all my loot and make sure bottles of off shore booze don’t break? I don’t know. Was it an impulse buy, kind of!
Today on Lewis & Evans we talked about a new kind of luggage that uses technology to follow you!
Ladies and Gentlemen, the Cowa suitcase story!
Here’s the story!
The Cowa suitcase is going up on Kickstarter soon. For frequent travelers, this might be a pieces of luggage you can’t pass up. It’s biggest feature: it follows you. If you’re worried you’ll lose Cowa it comes with an embedded 3G SIM card that helps you locate it and it can even automatically roll its way back to you if you desire. The luggage is powered by a removable battery that also serves as a power bank.
… To avoid crashing into you or other people, the Cowa Robot has two systems built in for obstacle detection and avoidance, and the active wheel automatically retracts when you touch the handle. Cowa also said that it’s planning to add an lgorithm to let the luggage follow alongside you.
I still prefer LOUD luggage or UNIQUE bag tags to jazz up the ever popular black luggage that come off the carousel!
