Gas prices have taken another pre-weekend jump.
Late Thursday, several stations started inching the price up to 105.9.
Earlier in the day, gas prices were around 99-cents a litre.
Gas Buddy Dot Com is reporting most stations have made the switch.
Dan McTeague is a senior petroleum analyst with Gas Buddy Dot Com.
He says wholesale prices went up last week and as a result, retailers have been in a position to charge more for fuel.
McTeague says we may have hit the high-water mark however as anticipates the price of fuel for consumers to level off near a dollar.
McTeague says there was a bump in fuel prices last week, as speculators in Chicago were concerned there wouldn’t be enough to feed the refineries during the Fort McMurray wildfires.
