The 11th annual Wings Over Wascana Nature festival took place on Saturday.
The festival allows families, and individuals, a chance to walk around the habitat conservation area and enjoy free wetland and wildlife activities.
Kim Mann, a member of the Friends of Wascana Marsh, believes the festival is a great way for people to learn more about the animals found in wascana.
Mann also says going for nature walks can have positive health benefits.
The Festival sees between 900 and 1200 people per year
