Regina police say a 10-year old girl will be okay after she was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of 1st Avenue N and Halifax Street.
A 29-year old driver of the vehicle was issued a ticket for not driving with a valid driver’s license.
At about 7:21 pm Sunday, Police were dispatched to the intersection 1st Ave North and Halifax Street.
Police conducted an investigation to learn the motorist proceeded westbound on 1st Ave North while the cyclist attempted to cross southbound on Halifax street when she was struck by the motorist.
Independent witnesses were interviewed by police.
A 29 year old female driver of the vehicle was issued a traffic safety act ticket for sec. 32(1), driving a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
