Monday morning my wife reminded me that she had an appointment to get her hair cut last night. Reminded me? I can’t remember her telling me in the first place. Maybe I tuned out when I heard “haircut.” When a haircut and color costs $200, you can’t really blame a guy for tuning out of that conversation, can you? After she got home I reminded her that I had also an appointment to get a haircut next week. I really don’t, but I wanted to needle her about the fact that I would be blowing a grand total of $20 on mine. Maybe I’ll have the stylist colour some of the grey out of my beard. What would that run? Another $5 or so? Wow. This’ll be tough getting my haircut up to that $200 mark. Oh well, maybe I’ll leave it at $20 and spend the other $180 foolishly. Now, that I’m good at!
Yesterday was the first day of Canada’s Farm Progress Show. I was broadcasting with our good friends and long time clients, Warner Industries. Great people. You couldn’t meet a friendlier staff. I’ll be there again today from 10-2. Stop by and say hi.
Speaking of stopping by, I ran into a gentleman yesterday at the show who has been listening to CKRM his whole life. He wanted to let me know that he’ll be stopping by to see me when I broadcast from Two Way Service in Southey on Saturday from 8-11. He won’t be coming alone though. He’ll be bringing along his dog. Apparently the staff at Two Way Service have known this gentleman for a long time and they just love his dog. I don’t think I’d take Max out anywhere except to the dog park.
Well, I guess I’d better let Co-Op know that we might need a few extra hot dogs on Saturday!
Maybe I’ll get a hold of the dry cleaners as well and let them know I could be dropping by Monday morning with a pair of slobbery dress pants!
