Charges have now been laid against the teenage boy accused of bringing a firearm inside the Yorkton Regional High School on Monday
He will appear in a Regina courtroom Wednesday.
RCMP are not revealing the age of the boy or whether or not he is a student at the school.
The charges include possessing a weapon dangerous to the public peace, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of marijuana.
The incident yesterday saw police rush to the school after reports of someone with a gun inside. The matter was brought under control shortly after police arrived.
