This is a big year for K+S Potash Canada with the construction of the Legacy mine near Bethune nearing completion.
It’s the biggest project under construction in the province right now.
Vice President and General Manager of Operations with KSPC, Sam Farris, says the mine will be ready to go by the end of August and producing potash by the end of the year.
The company is employing about 45-hundred people right now with construction jobs but the mine will still employ hundreds of people once it is up and running.
