Low-cost airline NewLeaf is set to make a major announcement Thursday morning in Winnipeg.
The travel company first launched at the beginning of the year boasting ultra-low prices for travellers in Western Canada.
NewLeaf buys seats from its partner Flair Air, a charter airline, and resells those tickets.
The CTA ruled NewLeaf could continue with their business model without a licence as long as they did not call themselves an airline.
At its launch in January, the travel company announced it would offer flights out of Regina for as low as $89.
NewLeaf is scheduled to make an announcement at the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport Thursday morning
