Expect some very unsettled weather over parts of Saskatchewan this weekend.
Environment Canada issued watches, warnings and advisories Friday night, indicating parts of the province will receive lightning, rainfall, high winds – even a risk of funnel clouds.
Saskatchewan’s Water Security Agency is also warning the public there could be localized flooding in some regions.
According to the Agency, the Hudson Bay area in the north eastern part of the province could receive general accumulations of 40-50 mm with higher amounts locally as a low pressure system makes its way though Saskatchewan
The system is expected to taper off to about 20-30 mm in the Melfort area.
