“It’s not something that you see everyday along the bridge, so it’s something that kind of draws people’s attention and really draws awareness to the cause,” said Langois.
Local restaurants will be selling pink dishes and donating a portion of the proceeds to the foundation. Sprout Catering, Kim and Ashlee’s Sweet Ambrosia Bakeshoppe, The Capitol, Crave Kitchen + Wine Bar, Table 10 and Glow Juicery will be participating until August 18.
The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation will also have a booth set up at Saturday’s Farmers’ Market, where people can learn more or donate.
The events are all part of an awareness campaign for the Foundation’s CIBC Run for the Cure on October 2.
