The Old Farmer’s Almanac says Saskatchewan farmers will enjoy good harvest weather this fall.
Jack Burnett is the managing editor of the latest edition of the Old Farmer’s Almanac.
He says the forecast for harvest weather on the prairies is relatively warm and dry.
But there will not be a repeat of last winter, the mildest winter in Saskatchewan in 85 years.
The Old Farmer’s Almanac predicts winter in Saskatchewan will be colder than normal but snowfall will be slightly less than usual.
The Almanac says next year will see a warm dry spring and a wet and cool summer on the prairies.
