Canadian athletes had their best day of the Rio Olympics Thursday capturing four medals.
One of the four was gold and came courtesy Erica Wiebe (pictured) in the 75 kilogram class of womens wrestling beating a wrestler from Kazahkstan in the gold medal match.
Sprinter Andre De Grasse took home his 2nd medal of the games as he won silver in the mens 200 metre dash, while decathlete Damian Warner and diver Meaghan Benfieto captured bronze medals.
Canada now has 18 medals–4 gold, 3 silver and 11 bronze.
As the games wind down, Canada should see their medal count grow to 20 or over.
